摘    要:当前英语专业泛读教学存在一些误区,造成英语泛读教学过程类似精读,过于精、散,从而影响了英语泛读课的教学效果。本文从韩礼德系统功能语法的语篇分析观入手,首先分析了泛读课的教学特点及泛读教学的现状,然后指出泛读课的目的在于对整个语篇的理解。从篇章结构入手进行分析能帮助学生理清文章结构、把握文章中心,进而提高学生的阅读理解能力。

Abstract:Because of the misunderstandings of some teachers on teaching extensive reading for English majors,the English extensive reading teaching process is consequently too elaborate and dispersed,which finally affects the teaching of English extensive reading.Based on Halliday’s discourse analysis theory in systematic-functional grammar,this paper first analyzed the characteristics and current situation of extensive reading teaching then pointed out that the purpose of extensive reading lied in understanding the entire text.Starting from discourse analysis can effectively help students sort out the article and grasp the main idea,which in turn helps improve students’ comprehensive ability of analyzing the article.
