| 摘 要： | 谚语是民族文化的载体,是一个民族智慧的精华所在。谚语不仅是一种语言现象,也是一种文化现象。本文通过对英汉谚语进行对比分析,揭示了英汉民族在语言表达方式和文化上的共性与差异,认为通过加强对语言和文化本质的理解,跨文化交际能够更顺利地进行。

| Abstract: | Proverb is the carrier of national culture and the essence of a nation's wisdom.It is a language phenomenon as well as a cultural phenomenon.Through the comparison and analysis of English and Chinese proverbs,the similarities and differences between Chinese and English in the language expression ways and culture were revealed.Intercultural communication can be more smoothly conducted by fostering the understanding of nature of language and the culture. |
