| Abstract: | The speciality polyethylene (PE) for coated pipe was developed by Qilu Company Limited and was applied in large quantities in four domestic projects of long-distance oil-gas pipeline. Not only was the speciality PE resin used for replacing its imported counterpart, but also it was exported to the countries in middle-east area. The successful development and application of the speciality promoted the construction of long-distance oil-gas pipeline in China as well as the scientific and technical progress in this field. |
