| Abstract: | The background of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is introduced. The definition and related models of MES are given. The development of MES is presented and the shortcomings of the exis ting MES are pointed out. On this basis, the research and development trends of the MES are given, and the key problems in the research of MES to be solved are discussed. |
