| Abstract: | The influence of self-oscillation on the wear resistance of cutting tools is considered. A method is proposed for formulating a model of the shaping of the machined surface that takes account of the wear of the tool’s cutting edge, the machine-tool dynamics, the cutting conditions, and errors in manufacturing and assembling the machine-tool drives. |
