| Abstract: | Through introduces source and development of pleating concept in Western culture and it's exhibition in nowadays architecture,this paper discovers the way in which the pleating theory providing important theoretical support for the present Western architecture from following aspects: otherness,socialization,new functional production of architecture,new space knowledge and so on under the social circumstances of complex and multivariate. |
