Abstract:Combined sewer overflows(CSOs)is an important cause of urban surface water pollution at home.Dongshan Lake and the related drainage network in Guangzhou City were taken as the research object.By means of modeling of hydrodynamic and water quality models of Dongshan Lake,the impact of CSOs on the water quality under the current conditions was simulated and analyzed,and the improvement effect of DN3000 deep tunnel on Dongshan Lake water quality was also analyzed.Results showed that the DN3000 deep tunnel played an important role in the prevention and control of CSOs pollution in Dongshan Lake.After the completion of tunnel,CODCr,TN and TP in Dongshan Lake could meet class Ⅳ standard specified in Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water(GB 3838—2002)during typical heavy rainstorm period.
