新型阻燃技术在聚丙烯中的应用

摘    要:将一种膨胀阻燃促进剂ZEO加入APP(聚磷酸铵)/PER(季戊四醇)膨胀阻燃剂中,用于阻燃PP(聚丙烯)。这种新型阻燃技术大幅度提高了APP/PEP阻燃PP的效果,极限氧指数(LOI)由27.5上升到42.0;垂直燃烧试验(UL-94)达到V-0级;锥形量热仪给出的热释放和烟释放等参数也显著下降。本文还采用热重分析仪(TGA)、自制热膨胀绝缘测量仪(TFIT)等手段研究了ZEO促进阻燃效果的机理。

Abstract:ZEO,an expansion flame retardant promoter, was added to a mixture of APP(ammonium polyphosphate)and PER(pentaerythritol),to be used for the preparation of expansion flame retardant PP(polypropylene).The result showed that the flame retardance of APP/PER was greatly improved.The limiting oxygen index(LOI)of the flame retardant PP with APP/PER additives increased from 27 5(with no ZEO added) to 49 0(with ZEO added).It was being graded as class V 0 in UL94 tests.Significant reduction in the releasing rate of heat and smoke was also noted,as measured by the Cone calorimeter measuring device.The mechanism of ZEO serving as a flame retardant promoter was also examined with the employment of the TGA meter and a thermal foaming insulation tester(TFIT).The TFIT was designed and built in our laboratory.
