| Abstract: | Processes for production of shortcut carbon fiber reinforced plastics through a BUSS kneader and a twin screw extruder were investigated.The technique was claimed to be applicable for the carbon fiber reinforcements of polyamide,polystyrene,polycarbonate,thermoplastics,polyesters and polyphenylene sulfide products. Carbon fiber reinforced polyamide technology was discussed in detail,focusing on the affects of processing parameters on the properties of the final product. |
