| Abstract: | The comprehensive small watershed management functions as a breakthrough in the practice of soil conservation in China in the 1980's and became the most popular measure to merge the ecological and environmental benefits with ecomomic benefits. The crux is the well planned readjustment of land use. The general principle and some concrete steps adopted in the planning of comprehensive small watershed is briefly introduced and a case study of the Zhuanghugou watershed is presented. |
