Abstract:When the distribution system with distributed generation (DG) occurred a large area blackout, the power restoration is a multi-objective and complex issue. Considering the user priorities, based on the quantity of load resto-ration, the action number of hand & remote switch and the network loss after service restoration, a multi-objective service restoration model for distribution system with DG was presented in this article, and was an improved genetic algorithm to deal with the issues of distribution network fault restoration proposed. Using the concepts of multiple population evaluation and the migration of individuals between populations, through the adjustment of adaptive control parameters, it avoided premature effectively, improved the search range and efficiency of the algorithm, better solved problems of distribution network fault restoration. Theoretical analysis and example showed that this algorithm has high convergence, strong real-time and global stability.
