| Abstract: | To improve the automation of process planning, the research deals with one of the CAD/CAPP integration problems, which intend to form a smooth information flow between designing and manufacturing processes. With the expectation of entering more information of a part to a CAPP system, this paper discusses how to efficiently extract process planning information from the solid model of a part, focusing on the library definition and extraction methods of machining features. |
