Corrosion Causes Analysis of Sewage Tank in Chemical Plant and Selection of Anti-Corrosive Material

The chemical plant sewage tank contains strong solubility, penetration of corrosive solvents and salt ions, because of the failure of the original epoxy FRP caoting and other coatings shedding or dissolving, and further reduces the structural stability of the sewage tank.Combined with the serviceenvironment and corrosion resistance requirements, through the screening samples of vairous anti-corrosion materials for sewage were tested in the field tank, and a new type polymer penetration resistance and temperature resistance anti-corrosion coatings was designed and prepared. Through a series of tests such as accelerated anti-permeability test, high temperature aging test and on-site samples were evaluated.The results show that in chemical wastewater,after 15 days of high temperature and high pressure test, the new type penetration-resistance polymer anti-corrosion coating have no damage, and the adhesion is still above 15 MPa, which can resist the corrosion of strong solvent and high chloride ion, the new type penetration-resistance polymer coating have good anti-corrosion performance. It is especially suitable for anti-corrosion of sewage water tank in chemical plant.
