试论传统孝道的继承和创造性转化

如何正确对待民族道德传统，这在我们民族近一百多年来一直是一个大问题。在长期的中西文化之争、传统与现代化之争中，我们的民族传统遭受了太多的误会和责难。而我们民族传统断裂造成的恶果让我们更加忧虑。要正确对待民族道德传统，唯有了解其内涵，分析其本质，看其是否合乎人性，是否有普世价值，在此基础上，才有可能实现创造性转化，才有可能古为今用，甚至为全世界所用，为全人类的共同未来作出我们民族特有的贡献。

On the Inheritance and Creative Transformation of Traditional Filial Piety

It has always been an important issue for our nation how to deal with national moral tradition properly in the past more than 100 years.In the long-term struggle of Chinese and Western cultures,struggle of the tradition and the modernization,our national tradition has suffered too much misunderstanding and censure.We are worried too much about the bad consequence caused by the break of national moral tradition.To treat the national moral tradition correctly,we must understand its connotation,analyze its essence to see whether it does conform with the human nature,whether it has universal values.Only on this basis,can it be possible to realize the creative transformation,to make the past serve the present,and even serve the world,and make our unique contribution to our nation for the future of all mankind.
