| 摘 要： | 简要回顾中国城市化的进程，分析改革前后两个时期城市化的不同特点。改革开放以来中国城市化速度并不算慢，但由于城市人口比重基数低、农村绝对人口总量大，加上计划经济体制下形成的城乡二元经济社会体制的影响，中国城市化水平仍远远落后于世界和发展中国家的平均水平。文章指出提高中国城市化水平，不仅要注重提高城市人口比重，关键要塑造与增强各类城市健康的发展机制，并提出了相关的对策。

| Abstract: | This article analyzes the pro-cess of urbanization in China and its fea-tures in the two periods(1949~1978,1979~2000). The speed of urbanizationin China is not slow comparing with othercountries,but the ratio of urban popu-lation is still in a low level due to a largepopulation,specfic urbanization andindustrialization policy.The paper pointsout that China should speed up urban-ization to comply with the fast economicgrowth and enhance the market-orientedreform of traditional urban-rural system. |
