超宽带雷达的发展、现状及应用

摘    要:超宽带雷达以其高距高分辩率、强穿透国、低截获率与强抗干扰性在军事、商业、环保等领域得到日益关注。本文综述了超宽带雷达的发展历史,结合国外实际超宽带合成孔径雷达系统阐明了超宽带合成孔径雷达的现状,并深入探讨了超宽带雷达的特性及其应用前景。超宽带雷达经过几十年的发展仍存在一些值得深入研究的问题,本文简要分析了部分技术难点,指出了超宽带雷达今后的发展和应用方向。

Abstract:Ultra-Wideband(UWB) radar, well known for its high range resolution,powerful p enetration,low probability of intercept and robust jamming immunity, is paid m ore attention by military requirements,commercial usage and environment protect ion. The foliage penetration (FOFEN) radar and ground penetration radar (GPR) ar e prominent military applications of UWB. The FOFEN radar is used to detect larg e tactical vehicles hidden in forested areas, and GPR mainly to seek landmine s and unexploded ordnance (UXO). Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR), noted for its high az imuth resolution, in conjunction with UWB technology,will improve its range res olution with sub-surface imaging capability, so UWB SAR can product very high r esolution image for both national defense and remote sensing. First, the definition of UWB is put forward, then the history of UWB is summariz ed, and the state-of-the-art of UWB SAR is illustrated by some examples of pr actical UWB SAR systems. Furthermore, some characteristics and applications of U WB radar are discussed. In past decade years, some difficult issues, which are n ot resolved yet, are listed. In conclusion, the trends of technology and its app lications are made clear.
