| Abstract: | The domain of fields involved in a manufacturing automation system and its constitution are investigated in this paper.The domain of fields is described in four aspects,i.e. information flow and material flow in manufacturing system,structure and functions in CIMS while the system constitution is introduced in five aspects,i.e.manufacturing equipment system,manufacturing information system etc. |
