Calculation Method of Settlement for High-rise Building Foundations

The predict methods of foundation settlement of high-rise building are summarized,which are the exponent three-point method,Asaoka method,hyperbola method and Logistic method.The comparison of field test results with calculation values shows that the hyperbola method converges slowly and the results are slightly high;the simplified recursion method is used in the Asaoka method and the results accord with the test;the linear or nearly linear settlement-time relation can be reflected in the Logistic method and the exponent method converges quickly but the results are less than the test values.
