Application of B. N. Zhemochkin's Method to Analysis of a Bendable Slab on an Elastic Bed

An approach that makes it possible to analyze slabs of any planform on an arbitrary type of elastic bed is outlined on the basis of symbiosis of V. Rutts' and B. N. Zhemochkin's methods; this is of utmost urgency for analysis of slab foundations. Examples are cited for the analysis of slabs on an elastic foundation bed in Cartesian and polar coordinate systems.
