Discussion on Cost Control of the General Contract Construction Enterprise in Project Management

The cost reduction is the pursuit of all construction projects, the project is the profit center of enter- prise. If the construction enterprise is going to develop, the project is the key. Furthermore, the cost reduction is the main task of the project. The effect of the project cost control, however, is not only related to whether the project can be successfully completed, but also directly affect the overall efficiency of the enterprise. This pa- per introduces the function of cost control in construction project management, and presents opinions from the perspective of project management on some main points of construction project cost control.
