| Abstract: | In this paper,the problems in collecting data of earth pressure are discussed on the basis of some real projects. According to the author, the present way, in which earth pressure date are calculated completely from classics theory, is not practical. A nonlinear method of row pile design, in which the cooperative action of ring beam are taken into account and the lateral pressure is calculated on the basis of the pressure of dis-placement earth are proposed. |
