The Problem and Countermeasure of the Design of the Four Axis Tool Path Based on MasterCAM

The common problems in the design of four axis tool path by MasterCAM software were discussed. The four axis rough machining method, which was easy to ignore in the four axis tool path design of other CAM software, was introduced. And the problems of the four axis tool path simulation and the poor surface quality of curved surface were analyzed.
