Abstract: | The effect of nonmetallic inclusions on the character of crack propagation in deformed steel 45L specimens was investigated. The optimum shape of nonmetallic inclusions ensuring a high resistance to crack propagation, i.e., a high resistance of steel to brittle fracture at subzero temperatures, was established. |
