Abstract:Concrete is the most widely used construction material at present.Due to its advantages such as easy drawing materials and good durability,it has been widely used.However,due to its disadvantages such as poor toughness and easy cracking,these defects can be improved by adding fiber into concrete.In order to study the mechanical properties of different fiber concrete,9 groups of 27 standard cube test blocks were made.The first 5 groups incorporated PVA fiber into concrete according to the content of 0,0.05%,0.1%,0.15%and 0.2%.In the latter 4 groups,the total amount of fiber was 0.2%.PVA fiber and steel fiber were doped into concrete with the content of 1∶3,1∶1,3∶1 and steel fiber fully doped with the content of 0.2%steel fiber.Hydraulic press was used for compressive test.With the increase of steel fiber content,the compressive strength of concrete is improved.
