Abstract:The DOA estimation of radar and sonar mainly depends on array signal.The widely used MUSIC algorithm has high precision in DOA estimation.However,under the conditions of low beat,low SNR and small matrix element number,the performance is significantly affected.Matrix filter can be used for array data prep-rocessing,the performance of DOA estimation can be improved efficiently.Firstly,in this paper,the design of least square matrix filter is considered and the effect of the passband position is analyzed.Secondly,the MUSIC algorithm is used for DOA estimation with the preprocessed array signal.By simulation,it can be found that the performance of the DOA estimation can be improved greatly with the preprocessing of array signal by matrix filter.
