| 摘 要： | 对美国现代主义园林设计大师詹姆士·罗斯的经历和园林设计的理论与实践作了介绍,詹姆士·罗斯在20世纪现代艺术和现代建筑蓬勃发展的背景下,反对学院派的传统方式,探索现代园林的形式、空间、材料,为美国开创了现代主义园林艺术,作品具有简洁、灵活、实用的特点,被誉为美国现代园林的先驱.

| Abstract: | Mr. James Rose was the pioneer of the American modernism landscape architecture and actually created the arts of American modernism landscape architecture. He took for the simple, flexible and practical styles and was opposite to Beaux-Arts' traditional ways. During the prosperous time of modern arts and architecture in the 20th century, he explored the forms, spaces and materials of modern landscape architecture. Now it is time to introduce his experience, theory of landscape design and works. |
