Innovation Construction and Practice in Scientific English for Chemical Engineering

Based on the characteristics of scientific English for chemical engineering and the understanding for the course, the problems in the teaching materials and teaching methods were listed and innovation was initiated to find out suitable methods to improve teaching quality of the course in short teaching period from teaching content, teaching methods and teaching evaluation. The purpose of the exploration was to motivate the students to study hard, to achieve better teaching effect, and to foster persons with ability in chemical engineering with necessary technology skill and application ability.
