Properties and application of inverse systems |

| Abstract: | The inverse system introduced by Brockett is generalized to the time-variable case. This inverse is utilized to solve the problem of generating an input to a linear system so as to produce a prescribed output. A new reduced form for an inverse system is also presented. |
