摘    要:硝酸蒸气测试实质是全面检验电镀后端子金沉积层对其基材的防护能力,而防护能力的高低决定于金的沉积厚度和金沉积层的致密性。通过使用自主研发的镍镀液以及新的金镀液,实现了基材的填平,提高了金沉积层的致密性。配合各段(主要是镀金后)采取的防护措施,使端子在金膜厚度不超过32μm的情况下能够通过2 h硝酸蒸汽测试,满足了某跨国公司客户提出的对于端子质量的高要求。

Abstract:HNO3 vapor test is to inspect the protection capability of the Au sedimentation for the substrate.The capability of the protection depends on the thickness and the density of the Au sedimentation.It is a big challenge when the customer demands that all the samples must be in accordance when inspected in the 200X Microscope,at the condition of Au thickness in 20 ~32 μm with HNO3 vapor test for 2 h.Ni chemical is developed to fill in the substrate and new Au chemical is used to improve the density of the Au sedimentation.This new development pass the 2 h HNO3 vapor test when the Au thickness is less than 32 μm.
