There are four rolling-cut shears on Baosteel 5m heavy plate mill shearing line. In the process of shearing plates, there are a lot of factors that will affect shearing quality, such as knife gap, pinch roll assembly precision and pinch roll synchronization, knife assembly precision, precision of equipment correlated with shears. The interrelated factors between shearing line equipment and shearing quality are analyzed, and reasonable suggestions are made, which will be of benefit to production and equipment maintenance.
