Abstract:In order to get rid of the current status quo that most traditional cloud storages almost exclusively rely on third-party trust institutions, a decentralized model can be adopted to achieve effective integration and optimization of idle storage resources on the network. Blockchain has technical characteristics such as decentralization, non-tampering, and trust based on multi-party consensus, which provides design ideas for the realization of a trusted sharing scheme of storage resources in a decentralized mode. In view of the possible problems in the current centralized trust model of traditional cloud storage, a method for fully decentralized and trusted storage resources based on the characteristics of the blockchain is proposed. Resources are credibly allocated to storage resource demanders in a decentralized manner, to get rid of the third-party dependence in the storage resource sharing process, and the key data related to trust management in the process is recorded on the blockchain, and the system participants are right public ledgers are jointly maintained and corresponding operations are performed according to the data records on the blockchain. Based on the Ethereum platform and the smart contract technology it supports, a simulation method for credible allocation of storage resources is implemented. The simulation test results prove the correctness and feasibility of the method.
