Abstract:The amount of railway engineering geological survey data is quite big, average of each single line is more than 1 TB,most of which are unstructured data such as documents and pictures, which reflect the characteristics of geotechnical engineering and geological conditions and are the most important basis in the engineering design stage. Under the background of tight project schedule and high-quality requirements, the traditional way of data search has caused considerable trouble to engineering designers. Therefore, it is urgent to design and implement a document retrieval system with abilities of fast searching, strong expansibility and supporting many file formats, so as to improve the speed and accuracy of data retrieval, and to improve the efficiency of design with richer retrieval experience while conforming to the usage habits of engineers. We analyze the characteristics of railway engineering geological survey data, solve the system design architecture and processing, cover the vast and unstructured data cleaning, conversion, and structured process analysis, mining, and realize engineering geological information retrieval system. The system can complete million level data retrieval in seconds, with a hit rate of more than 80%.
