Discussion of Reducing Neps and Short Fibre in Blowing-carding Unit

Methods of reducing neps and short fibre in blowing-carding unit were discussed. Relationship among Raw cotton property,blowing-carding processing and card sliver nep,short fibre content were analysed. Raw material was selected correctly. Controlling neps and short fibre increasing rate were selected as aim,combined type of opening machine and picking machine,beater speed,carding machine speed,gauge,weight per unit and card clothing type et al were optimized,rational processing parameter were confirmed,finally card sliver neps and short fibre content could be reduced obviously,the quality could reach better level,product quality could be improved as well.
