| 摘 要： | 简要分析了当前语音编码总体上三个大的发展方向：极低速率语音编码、变速率语音编码和不压缩语音编码，并说明了它们的应用领域。只有把握了语音编码的总体发展方向和语音编码的应用领域，才能更好地将语音编码技术应用到通信领域中。

| Abstract: | Three basic development directions of speech coding were analyzed: extreme low rate speech coding,variable rate speech coding and uncompressed speech coding.Their application fields were given.The speech coding technology could be applied to telecommunication field only if the development directions and application field of speech coding were mastered. |
