| Abstract: | Methods of calculating the optical paths in two optical systems, the cylinder surface optical system and the conoid surface optical system, is described. Drawbacks of the common iteration for the same purpose are discussed. A conception of program composition for selecting the optimal image surface is presented, and an example is given to demonstrate it. |
