Build High Quality and Low Energy Buildings in China

The author analyzed the situation of architectural energy saving in China. He puts forward reasonable suggestions and views regarding the existing problems, and introduced theories and methods of energy saving technologies, including the conception of energy saving constructions and means and key points suitable to the climatic conditions. He also introduced new ideas about the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning: 1.To use independent, small, low powered and adjustable heating equipment for each house to replace high powered complicated central heating; 2.To use low power and high efficiency radiation heating equipment of either ceiling or floor type to replace different heating systems of high power and temperature. 3.To adopt air conditioning technology and equipment of low converting rate and small temperature difference with cooling air blown at floor level in place of air conditioners of high power and large temperature difference with overhead cooling air outlets.
