Research on the Application of Profibus-DP Field Bus in Mine Hoist Control System

Field bus technology has gained a wide application in various industrial fields as it has a simplified hardware configuration and improved reliability compared to the conventional control modes.The paper investigates the application of Profibus-DP field bus in mine hoist control system and presents the system composition, configuration and programming.Its actual application indicates that field bus technology can be well used in the mine hoist control system, which has eliminated the original hardware restriction and can improve the integration degree of hoist system control, facilitate the upgrading of site network and raise the safety of the whole system.
