From the History of Graphic Design and Painting to Multiple Inspiration of New Media

By reviewing the modern graphic design in Europe and exploring the rule of art in painting and graphic design,this article elaborates that the modern graphic design will never ignore all kinds of painting languages and artistic ideas as well as their impacts on grapic design. On the other hand, by reviewing the hard course of development of Chinese graphic design and the indigestible acceptance of modernism design, the writer analyzes the special reliance on computer technic in graphic design at home, shows the positive view on solutions given by the senior who have been devoting in graphic design and points out that the local painting language in China will be the possible directions to the healthy design development.
