Cave-dwelling as a special traditional architecture of Shanbei,has its long history and cultural tradition.The decoration pattern which on the cave-dwelling embodies the culture and ethnic customs of loess plateau.This article analyses the old cultural and the merging of multi-national of ShanBei,it provides an overview of the decoration pattern’s history,for reference of the study of this area’s traditional architecture.
