手持终端设备中的锂电池充电技术

摘    要:锂电池具有体积小、能量密度高、无记忆效应、循环寿命高、高电压电池和自放电率低等优点。近年来已经成为手持终端设备的首选电池。针对锂电池的特性,其充电电路的设计与以往的镍镉,镍氢,铅酸电池充电电路有较大的区别。本文对手持终端设备中的锂电池充电技术作了比较详细的描述,深人地分析了几种锂电池充电方案。

Abstract:Li battery have the good features of small size, high power density, no memory effect, long cycle life, high voltage and low self-discharge. Recent years, it is the preferred battery in handheld terminals. Its charging circuitry is distinctly different from NiCd, NiMH and Lead Acid battery. There are three methods can be used to charge Li battery: switch, linear and pulse. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages. The selection of charging method is based on the cost, space and efficiency. This text will detail the charging techniques and some charging schemes for Li battery in handheld terminals.
