| 摘 要： | 拉尔夫·埃里森和托妮·莫里森都是美国当代著名的黑人作家，《看不见的人》和《宠儿》分别是两者的代表作品，备受学术界推崇，至今已有许多学者对这两部作品进行研究，但是对于其中的智慧长者形象的研究却依然空白。本文将对《看不见的人》中的祖父和《宠儿》中的祖母进行详细的分析，并通过对比，总结男女黑人作家笔下的智慧长者形象的异同。

| Abstract: | Ralph El ison and Tonni Morrison are renowned African-American writers. Invisible Man and Beloved, respectively as their masterpiece, have drawn much at ention from scholars, but few research has been made on sage images in the two novels. This paper compared grandfather in Invisible Man and grandmother in Beloved and summarized the dif erence between the two images. |
