This paper summerizes the main outcomes of the movable inner tube coatings in individual hydraulic prop system using for blasting mining face in past decade.Primary factors resulting in the coating break,coating corrosion mechanism and selecting basis of electroplating technique are also explained.Several view- points are presented such as:(a)non blasting-proof coating and electrochemistry protection are useful ways for reducing corrosion rate.(a)belonging to non-sealed sur- face the coating corrosion can be allowed to some extents that do not affect the prop lowering.(c)the selection for the inner tube coatings ought to meet conditions of simple process,high quality,and low cost.
