| Abstract: | A new method for the rapid determination of the cement content of fresh concrete based on flotation principles is presented. Results may be obtained within a time of 20 minutes and are independent of type of cement, grain-size of aggregate, age of the mix and the testing temperature. The method is specially suited for site application. |
