| Abstract: | Silica sol is a kind of colloid solution well dispersing corpuscles of silicon dioxide in water.From its structure and property,the methods of preparation of silica sol were summarized.The use of silica sol in various areas,including chemical industry,casting,textile making,paper making, material,coating,electron,etc.were introduced.Meanwhile,research prospect of silica sol was also forecasted. |
