| Abstract: | The paper describes the relationship between the formation density and porosity of the muddy (shaly) stone.In addition,it introduces the method and detail steps to measure the formation pressure by densilog data.This method was applied in one of Chinese western oilfields and concluded that its accuracy could meet the engineeing requirements. |
