The paper from the features of the reservoir slopes,analyzes the relative elements causing the bank collapses of the reservoir,including the geological,the hydrological and topological elements,has the brief indication on the damage forms of the reservoir slopes,the formation mechanism of the sliding slopes and bank collapses,and the forecasting methods,and points out respective prevention measures,so as to direct the operation for the reservoir management.
