| Abstract: | This article identi es the unique characteristics of architectural design in the digital era that engages the application and customization of digital tools. It identifies the rule-based design as a method for connecting architects with natural forms and encourages them to investigate the rules of nature and to incorporate these rules into design practices and the digital tool-making process. It aims to bridge the gaps between the nature, the architects and the ever changing digital technologies. |
