摘    要:针对目前高职高专公共英语课程定位以及课程教学存在的问题,文章对公共英语课程教学的课程模式、教学内容、教学方法、评价方式等整个课程体系进行改革研究与探索,提出了双核心课程改革思路.文章通过问卷法、访谈法、课堂观摩法、测试法,探讨师生对双核心课程的接受度、参与度及其教学效果,旨在构建以就业为导向,培养学生英语知识与职业技能相结合的有效课程模式,对高职公共英语教学改革提供有益的建议和实例.

Abstract:Analyzing the English teaching status quo in Higher Vocational & Technical Colleges (HVTC), this paper proposes double-objective curriculum design to reform such aspects as course model, teaching materials, teaching approaches, and evaluation methods etc. By the means of questionnaire, interview, in-class observation and testing, this paper explores the effect of double- objective curriculum design with the aim of constructing an effective job-oriented curriculum model developing both English basic knowledge and career skills, and of providing reflective suggestions on College English teaching reform at HVTC.
