| Abstract: | A solution is obtained to the problem of unsteady heat conduction of a semi-infinite thin rod, thermally insulated along its generators, or a plate, with a uniformly moving fusion boundary, or a thermally insulated boundary. The results are presented of a numerical calculation for a copper rod with various rates of motion of the boundary. |
