The Application of Virtual Reality Technology in Mechanical Teaching

Due to complexity of mechanism structure, it is difficult for the students to grip the contents by traditional teaching ways. Because of characters of high level timeliness living effect, security, economy, virtual reality（VR） provides a good solution. We applied VR technique to teaching practice, employ data-base, graphic management to build living virtual teaching environment. Finally, virtual teaching system of excavator chassis with perfect function was realized. Practice shows that this practical way is significahce to the teaching application.
